2021 - Present

I am involved in the development and maintenance of a hybrid Android application for a perfume and cosmetics retailer, serving a user base of 1.7 million on the Google Play Store.

Within the app, I integrate augmented reality capabilities, specifically a beauty mirror option that allows users to virtually test out different makeup styles. Furthermore, I develop a skin analysis functionality that utilizes artificial intelligence to evaluate the user's skin, determine their skin type, and offer personalized skincare recommendations.

Additionally, I configure and stage the application for multiple countries, ensuring adherence to local regulations and language translations.

In my role as an Android developer in automotive technology, my responsibilities included developing test automation modules for text to speech voice solutions in Android, ensuring the maintenance of text to speech bug tickets, and creating customized AOSP Android images for virtual environments.

Furthermore, I was involved in designing prototype UI interfaces for the AUTOSAR tooling platform.

Android Engineer - Vodafone Shared Services in Bucharest, Romania

2015 - 2017

I worked on a Proof-of-Concept (POC) project that involved the development of a native Android application that seamlessly connected to an Arduino device using Bluetooth technology.

This particular device aimed to assist individuals with Asthma by enabling them to monitor their lung capacity throughout the day. Users would simply blow into the device, and the data would be transmitted to the Android app. Subsequently, the information would be stored in the cloud, providing doctors with real-time data to prescribe medication promptly based on the recorded asthma device readings.

In addition to developing the standard Android app for adults, I also created a child-friendly version that featured a virtual pet. This gamification element aimed to motivate children to use the asthma device by allowing them to feed their virtual pet.
